This course provides technician-focused instruction and training for the successful production of non-sterile and sterile preparations.  Through hands on training students will learn proper use of equipment, and the safe handling of drugs. This course will highlight techniques and skills pharmacy technicians need to prepare various dosage forms which may not be commercially-available to patients.  Pharmacy technicians must apply accurate calculations, methods, and procedures to ensure a safe and effective final product.
