My name is Nahid Karimi, an Afghan girl currently a sophomore at Solebury School, studying on a full scholarship. Writing has been my sanctuary since the Taliban took over Afghanistan—a place where I can pour my thoughts and dreams onto the page when the world outside feels too overwhelming.
