The purpose of this initiative is to build a capable civil society that is able and willing to engage with government and act with, and demand, integrity. The outcomes expected are: Greater understanding in local communities of the power of Community-Based Monitoring (CBM) in halting corruption through the introduction of trained Integrity Champions. Newly created opportunities for transparent dialogue and accountability in the identification of solutions to citizens’ needs, concerns and priorities by both local and national government.
