Meet Ahmad Baktash, a passionate educator and translator with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Since joining the DD Library in July 2023, Ahmad Baktash has translated seven chapters of Business Communication materials into Dari/Persian, covering vital topics like effective writing and research. His work bridges linguistic gaps, making essential communication skills accessible to Afghan professionals.

Ahmad Baktash’s dedication to education stems from his belief in its transformative power. Inspired by his sister’s success with DD programs, he has channeled his experience to support Afghan women and girls in reclaiming their right to learn. “Education shapes individuals and strengthens families,” says Ahmad, who views his contributions as a step toward societal progress. His favorite projects focus on practical topics like writing concise emails and delivering impactful presentations—skills that empower readers in their daily lives.

Ahmad envisions an Afghanistan where education is universally accessible, especially for women and girls. He dreams of a future where empowered individuals use knowledge to rebuild communities. “Through initiatives like the Darakht-e Danesh Library, this vision can become a reality,” he affirms.
