The Core Competencies for Public Health in Canada (Release 1.0)(Core Competencies) have been identified for individuals with training in public health including front line providers, consultants/specialists and managers/supervisors. The core competencies describe the essential knowledge, skills or other attitudes necessary for the practice of public health.
