The purpose of this lesson is to learn the techniques of sketching without the assistance of a computer.  One of the main methods of communication for scientists, engineers, designers and drafters is to draw a pictorial representation of ideas, processes or products.  This is also a life skill that can be used across many disciplines.  As with any new skill, practice will result in eventual mastery.  Sketching and drawing with computers will be covered in separate lessons.
