of their cultural identities before conducting an interview to determine a classmate's cultural traits. After
reading and analyzing a piece of writing, looking specifically for cultural components, students create a
visual representation of who they are in terms of their various cultural attributes. All works will be attached
to create a Culture Quilt that will be displayed for all students to enjoy. Students ultimately reflect on the
impact of culture and how various cultures make us who we are both individually and collectively.
