This course introduces students to the fundamentals of sound and basic to intermediate audio production. The course includes a theoretical exploration of sound and listening, a foundation in recording technique and technology, audio editing and mixing using Audacity, Avid Pro Tools, audio documentary and narrative construction, and sound design for visual media.
